Toddler & Family Group
Charlton House is launching a new ‘Stay and Play’ toddler group for families and their children aged 0 – 4 years.
Charlton Tots will start on Tuesday 19th September and run from 1:45pm – 3:45pm every Tuesday.
Do I have to have a child at Charlton House to attend?
No, this is open to any family that would like to attend with their child(ren). Parents, grandparents and carers are all welcome.
What will be provided?
Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits will be on offer, along with a variety of baby and toddler toys. It will be held in our Early Years Department and each week there will be an optional craft activity.
Why is it in the afternoon?
When we looked at setting up a stay and play group, we noticed there was not much on offer for toddlers in the local area during the afternoon. We know some children nap in the afternoon, whereas others need a little more ‘wearing out’, so we thought we would offer an alternative for those of you that would like to occupy your little ones before school pick-up.
Do we have to stay the whole time?
You can arrive and leave at any time you like between 1:45pm – 3:45pm. If you have school pick-up for an older child at 3pm, you could attend 1:45pm-2:45pm, or maybe stay the whole time. We are flexible and the time that you arrive and leave is up to you.
