Academic School Fees

Our fees are payable on (or before) the first day of each term. They can also be settled by way of twelve equal-monthly instalments. Included within our fees are all books, stationery and some extra-curricular clubs that are offered before and after school.

Full academic school fees for the year 2024/25 (inclusive of VAT) are broken down as follows:

£833.15 per month; or
£3,332.60 per term; or
£9,9997.80 per year

All applicants (regardless of year of entry) pay a non-refundable registration fee of £250. A place will be guaranteed on payment of this fee. In addition, a deposit of £250 is also required, which will be deductible from your child’s final term’s fees in Year 6. A fee of £250 is payable for Year 1 – 6 as a contribution towards a laptop that your child will have sole use of during their time at Charlton House.

The registration fee, deposit and purchase of a laptop may be paid in full, or over a period of three months.

Early Years Funding

Charlton House Independent School is an ‘Approved Provider’ participating in the Government’s Early Years Funding Scheme. This entitles parents to claim up to 30 hours per week of free early years education for six terms. The provision commences the term after a child reaches their 3rd birthday, and continues up to and including the term in which they turn 5.

How to apply:

Once your child starts at Charlton House, you will be asked to complete a Parental Declaration form for your eligible child. The school is then notified of the funding amount for each term, as the number of weeks vary. Our School office takes care of all of the administration aspects of the funding for you.

Discounts and Reductions

We offer a sibling discount of 10% for a second child attending the school. Families with three or more siblings can be given further reductions following a discussion with the Head Teacher. All children must attend the school at the same time to be eligible for any discounts.

If the full academic year’s fees are paid prior to the commencement of the year, we offer a 3% discount. This would bring the total annual fees down to £9,697.87

We also offer alumni and ‘Old Simmarian’ discounts at a rate of 5% per annum and NHS & Military discount at 10%.
